The expansion of important trade links between Wirral and the Isle of Man is being supported by Russell Taylor Group in an initiative aimed at forging new collaborative business initiatives.
The company will be visiting the island later this month as part of a delegation of Wirral Chamber of Commerce members with expertise in the professional business services and financial sectors. The event is being held in partnership with the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce.
Russell Taylor Group recently welcomed a delegation from the island’s Chamber along with representatives of the Manx government when they met at the company’s headquarters on Riverside Park, Bromborough, to discuss joint programmes of working to provide recruitment solutions for the Isle of Man.
Ben Russell, chief executive at Russell Taylor Holdings, said: “We are looking forward to meeting up again with the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce and businesses on the island in this exciting initiative to discover how we can create effective working relationships and work more closely together.
“When we last met, we discussed ways we could work jointly to help develop the island’s recruitment infrastructure and see this visit as another important step towards a collaborative approach which can only result in the creation of many new opportunities for us all.
“Wirral is now economically one of the fastest growing regions in the UK and, as a patron member, we are delighted to be supporting Wirral Chamber in its efforts to expand even further vital programmes of growth.”
Paula Basnett, Chief Executive of Wirral Chamber, added: “Through our sector forums and the partnership we have developed with the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce, we are building a strong and active relationship between our respective business communities in Wirral and the island.
“I am delighted that Russell Taylor Group, a key patron member of Wirral Chamber, will be supporting this event and providing expertise and knowledge in developing new links and contacts within the Financial and Professional Services sector.”
