With only two weeks to go to Wirral Business Awards 2017, Russell Taylor Group joined other event sponsors at a pre-event celebratory dinner.

It was an evening of business updates, great food and a chance to catch up with all that’s being prepared for the awards celebration at Thornton Manor on Friday, September 22.

Russell Taylor Group chairman Peter Russell (pictured centre) was joined at the dinner at Wirral’s Mere Brook House by Paula Basnett, chief executive of event organisers Wirral Chamber of Commerce, and fellow sponsors Let’s Go! Print and Design, The Contact Company, Unilever, NW System Group and B&M Waste Services Group as well as members of the judging panel from KPMG and DLA Piper.

Peter said: “Meeting up with other sponsors in a relaxed and informal setting was a brilliant way to keep up with what other key players in the Wirral business community are doing to expand and support the area’s growing economy.

“We’re all immensely looking forward to the awards night when I’m sure there will be some amazing stories of the achievements of companies like ours which are contributing to the creation of a dynamic economy and to making Wirral a great place to work and have a successful career.”

Paula added: “It was a great night and I’m delighted to be part of a team that’s doing so much to boost our economy with its entrepreneurship and innovation.
