TRIUMPHANT Hoylake RFC, sponsored by Russell Taylor Group, are celebrating after their weekend victory in the tough Cheshire Bowl competition.

The club beat Winnington Park RUFC by 25 points to 20 in a nail-biting final at Crewe and Nantwich Rugby Club.

Hoylake's tries were scored by Jake Woods (2), Will Dow and Richard Young, with one penalty and one conversion from the boot of Joe Lavin.

Their cup success came just one week after Hoylake secured promotion with a hard fought victory over Marple.
