Hours: 30-40 hours per week
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Transport Administrator to join manufacturing client in Deeside. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of transportation logistics related to the delivery of our client's products to customers and various sites.
The Transport Administrator will work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of products, maintaining excellent communication throughout the process.
The Role:
- Maintain and update transportation records, including dispatch notes, delivery logs, and customer information.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to delivery inquiries, tracking orders, and resolving any issues or delays.
- Notify customers of shipping status, delays, or any changes to delivery schedules.
- Schedule and coordinate deliveries to various customer locations, ensuring on-time and accurate shipments.
- Liaise with transport providers and warehouse teams to manage scheduling and transport requirements.
- Manage transportation requests, process orders, and ensure smooth transition from production to delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of transportation expenses, delivery times, and inventory movements
- Generate regular reports on transport activities, including performance and cost analysis.
- Ensure all necessary delivery documentation (e.g., delivery notes, invoices) is completed accurately.
- Investigate and resolve any delivery discrepancies or complaints, ensuring a positive outcome for the customer and company.
