Salary: Up to £55,000 depending on experience
Are you an experienced Quality professional with a background in manufacturing or the chemical industry? We're looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality systems, ensure product excellence, and drive continuous improvement at our Liverpool based client. The role will be a mixture of Quality Assurance and leading the QC team within the site's QC laboratory.

About the Role
• Manage and develop the company's ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System.
• Conduct internal audits and host external audits, ensuring compliance and driving improvements.
• Lead investigations into non-conformities, applying corrective actions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance processes and reduce business risk.
• Implement metrics to monitor quality performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Oversee the QC laboratory, managing a small team to ensure product quality standards are met.
About You
• Degree in Chemistry or related science.
• 5+ years' experience in Quality Assurance or a combination of technical laboratory work and QA.
• Strong understanding of ISO standards and audit management.
• Experience leading a small team and collaborating across departments.
• Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach.
• Excellent attention to detail with a pragmatic outlook.
