This role emcompasses Design and involement in full manufature and product delivery to exciting sectors such as data centre proejcts.
Purpose
To work closely with the Engineering Team on the preparation of detailed designs and specific contract works instructions and documentation
Duties & responsibilities
• Develop a working knowledge of all systems and processes relevant to engineering.
• Close liaison with manufacturing re efficient and safe application of labour resources in order to achieve production targets and delivery dates of specific contracts issued by the Engineering Manager, both within the factory and on site.
• Working closely with the Engineering Team to ensure compliance with agreed build specification and Company design criteria.
• Technical liaison with customers.
• Purchasing in conjunction with clerical staff.
• Compilation of all data to enable invoicing by Group Financial Director
• Attend client meetings as required/requested.
• Occasional out of hours client entertaining following FAT's
• To provide close customer liaison on receipt of orders
• Responsible for engineering orders won by the company, within budget and timeframe, to specification and quality standards and achieve engineering in terms of production and handover dates
• Responsibility for complying with and implementing the Q&E management system within their area of activity.
Ideally experienced with Inventor Software / Solidworks
Experience with Sheet Metal & Switchgear / Control systems fairly essential
