What you'll do
• Apply MV/HV asset condition monitoring techniques, ensuring safer and more reliable networks.
• Gain authorisation for High Voltage (HV) testing, including cable mapping, Vacuum Interrupter testing, and transformer testing.
• Perform service work in Asset Diagnostics, such as condition assessments, partial discharge surveys, and data analysis/report writing.
• Collaborate with the team to improve asset condition data analysis methods.
• Provide general support across the team and the business.
• Split your time between office and offsite work, with flexible working options.
• Travel to various UK client sites 2 to 3 days a week when required (expenses covered including overnight stays).
• Occasionally travel overseas/offshore (additional allowances may apply).
What you'll need
• Minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Electrical background essential (time-served Electrician)
• Knowledge of HV electricity distribution and HV testing experience
• Full UK driving licence
