upcoming shutdown / turnaround within the Oil and Gas sector
3 month contract starting either immediately or latest in January
Requirements:
● NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
● Practical health and safety experience preferred.
● Experience on Petrochemical sites and or O&G
● Experience of working on shutdowns (Preferable)
● Be computer literate.
● Willing to do 10-12 hour shifts including weekends
40 hours per week but 60-70 hours for a 5 week main period
Job Content
● Coaching the project team on safety topics.
● Ensuring a good quality Take Time' (last minute risk assessment) has been
completed.
● Providing Toolbox talks specific to tasks being undertaken for that specific shift
● Being pro-active in providing solutions to unsafe conditions and challenging unsafe
behaviours.
● Safety inspections: Conduct safety inspections on a regular basis throughout the
project.
● Taking action, gathering and reporting of Safety Opportunities for improvement
(SOFI) like, Near Misses, At risk conditions, At risk behaviours.
● Maintaining good communications with company and the customers safety team.
● Attending daily safety meetings as required.
